# A Living Garden of Artificial Creatures

Organisms made of hundreds of particles self-organize, graze, hunt, flee, and evolve—nothing is scripted.

The physics is **Particle Lenia**, an artificial-life model where every creature is defined by just **six numbers**, and everything you see emerges from them.

## 🌱 Four Ways to Play

### 🌱 Garden

A zen sandbox.

Sculpt creatures with attract/repel brushes, feed them, mutate their genes, mix species, and watch layered, lifelike patterns emerge.

### 🦠 Ecosystem

Prey graze on falling food while a hunter pack senses and chases them.

Hunters starve without kills. Tend the balance—or don't—and watch the ecosystem collapse.

### ✨ Shepherd

Herd a creature you don't directly control into glowing rings.

### 🧩 Labyrinth

Guide a soft-bodied organism through walls and narrow passages to reach the goal.

## 🧬 Emergent Life

Every creature's color comes from its genome.

Mutate a species and its hue drifts with it. Breed something beautiful, save it as a preset, and share a screenshot in the comments.

---

**Prototype:** I'm still deciding what this becomes.

**Which mode did you stay in the longest?**
